The Blood Sugar Diet 4: Moong Dal Cheela
Rich in fiber, potassium and iron, moong dal is one of the ideal desi recipes to try. Moong dal cheela is a traditional Indian breakfast, essentially a savory pancake prepared with moong dal pulp, onions, chillies and other ingredients.

Ingredients:
- 200 grams of moong dal
- 4-5 pieces paneer (cut into cubes)
- 1 teaspoon ground paneer mixed with chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon pepper and cabbage, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cashew nuts
- Salt to taste
- Ghee (for frying)
Preparation:
- Soak the moong dal overnight and grind it with some salt into a consistently flowing batter.
- Heat tawa and spread some batter over it in a circular motion.
- Add the cashew nuts and all the vegetables.
- Add some ghee to it and turn it over and let it cook for a few minutes.
- Serve with mint chutney and sweet chutney.
