Cauliflower is best kept in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator. This can take about 5 to 7 days. Remember to leave the foliage on the cabbage. This offers natural protection and protects the cauliflower from drying out. You can also freeze cauliflower, but then you have to blanch the florets first. 3 minutes is enough. Cauliflower keeps well in the freezer for up to 12 months.
This cauliflower is large in size. Enough for 3 to 4 people.
Everyone knows the classic potato-vegetable-meat with cauliflower from the past. But you can do so much more with this cabbage. Make couscous or a pizza base. Use it in the soup or in combination with the Gobi Manchurian Mix from Aachi.
Bring a pan of water to the boil and add some salt plus the cauliflower florets. Let the cauliflower cook for 8 to 10 minutes until it is al dente.
