Unirice Basmati rice is grown at the foot of the Himalayas. The beautiful dry-boiling, slender rice grain grows in rich soil with the naturally pure meltwater of the snow from the Himalayas. This ensures the superior quality.

Preparation

1. Wash the rice in plenty of water, drain.
2. Bring a large pot of water to the boil.
3. While stirring, add the rice and salt to taste if necessary).
4. Bring to the boil again, stir briefly and let it simmer in a closed pan for 10 minutes.
5. Drain (use a sieve or colander).
   
   Tip: For an extra long grain, soak the rice in cold water for 20 minutes before cooking.
