Sona Masoori Rice
100% natural without additives
100% organic
Polished
Sona Masoori rice is a white rice, very aromatic and of good quality. The rice should be rinsed before cooking. Sona Masoorri contains less starch than Basmati rice, making it healthier and easier to digest. Because the rice grain is strong and rich in fiber, the rice will not become mushy quickly.
Preparation
For best results, it is recommended to soak the rice in water 20 minutes to 30 minutes before use, but this is not necessary. Rinse the rice before cooking.
Bring the rice to a boil in a pan with double the amount of water. Then let it simmer with the lid on the pan for about 10 minutes. Once it has absorbed most of the water, remove the pan from the heat and let it rest with the lid on for about 5 minutes.
Microwave: Fill a microwave-safe bowl with 1 part rice and 2 parts water. Cover the bowl with cling film. Cook the rice on high power for about 6 to 10 minutes, depending on the microwave power.
