A white cabbage can be stored in the refrigerator for more than a week. It is best to store the white cabbage in a cool, dry, preferably dark place. You can also freeze white cabbage.
Delicious in salads or as a stew.
Remove the outer leaves from the white cabbage, cut it into quarters and remove the stalk. Rinse the segments under the tap and cut them into strips.
The cooking time of white cabbage is approx. 10 minutes. Boil the cabbage in a little water with a little bit of salt. Do not cook the white cabbage for too long, because then sulfur compounds are formed.
If you want to stir-fry the white cabbage, do this for 6 to 8 minutes.
